What it is
Parking Master Multiplayer 2 is an open-world driving and parking game where players share a city: meeting up, trading cars, showing off their builds and racing each other. It has passed 15 million downloads across iOS and Android and is still in live operation.
What I built
- Shipped a broad range of player-facing systems into a live title at that scale.
- Built the character customization system, multiplayer events, new game modes and a vehicle accessory system.
- Optimized the vehicle customization system, and ran continuous memory and CPU work to hold performance across low-end Android and iOS hardware.
Systems I shipped
I built the character customization system, multiplayer events, new game modes and a vehicle accessory system, among others. The accessory system paid off straight away: the police siren it introduced became the month’s best-selling in-app purchase.
Performance on the hardware people actually own
I optimized the vehicle customization system and ran continuous memory and CPU work to hold smooth performance across low-end Android and iOS devices.
